We want you to have nice things.

Friday doesn't quite feel like Friday if it doesn't start off with some Popbuzz recommendations. We've kept our ears peeled for the best new music from the week in the hopes that we'd get to pass them on. Like some sort of musical Obi-Wan.

Hudson Mohawke//Very First Breath

New Hudson Mohawke is always a very exciting affair. The producer has led the charge for really complex, layered pieces of music. This release catches you somewhere between Calvin Harris and Passion Pit. Really bright and catchy, this is a good jam to have in your ears.

Jamie xx//Loud Places ft. Romy Madley Croft

Jamie xx is working on his debut solo album and that's on thing you should be VERY excited for. On "Loud Places", Jamie gets a little help from his xx friends and it feels like you're back in the XX days. Warm, sunny, and accessible, this track just primed us for his June release.

Lets ignore the weird as hell roll out for BBHMM. This track is massive. You actually haven't lived until you've listened to Rihanna scream "moo-la-la" in your ear first thing in the morning. Do yourself a favour.

Fickle Friends//Could Be Wrong

"Could Be Wrong" is the fourth single for the Brighton based alt-pop band. Very much in the vein of Bombay Bicycle Club and The 1975, Fickle Friends make music for feeling happy. That's definitely something to get behind.

Gather around children. There is a band that you need to know about so welcome to your education. For fans of Alt- J, The xx and Bon Iver, Haux's "Homegrown" will feel like coming home. It's brilliantly arranged and set against the warmest vocals.

Hop Along//A Powerful Man

You know when music just feels good? Hop Along's music feel very very good. Their newest single "Powerful Man" is spirited and nuanced with the help of Frances Quinlan's incredible vocals. You need this in your life.
