Take my money!
Green Day have announced a limited edition re-release of American idiot on vinyl will drop this Friday aka "Black Friday" aka "get crushed trying to buy a cheap TV" day.
Only 5000 will be available of the colourful sets (one red and black disc and one white and black disc) and this got us thinking about which other albums are due a special vinyl re-release so we can fill up our shelves. Here's some suggestions:
With that classic "jazz" style cover art and the pop punk revival in full swing, now would be the perfect time for FOB to revisit their debut, preferably on blue vinyl.
Another iconic cover on a great pop punk release, Jimmy Eat World's strongest release has it's 15th anniversary next year and remains as fresh and vital sounding as it did back in '01.
Nevermind AI, Green Day's breakthrough record has a ton of hits and riffs big enough to tear down stadiums. They've taken to playing the whole thing at shows too as they did at Reading and Leeds fest a couple of years back. We'd like this one in (what else) bright green please.
Stay with us. Britney has never released an album on vinyl and considering she is now slaying Las Vegas on a nightly basis, this would make the perfect piece of merch to take home with you.
Including Chrismakkuh. All on discs of orange brighter than a California sunset.
The Thriller of our time. And unlike The 20/20 Experience, it isn't four and a half hours long so you can probably fit it all on one disc.
She was a girl. She made some great songs. Can I make it any more obvious?
The Darkness always acted like a 70s rock act anyway so they may as well complete the look. Although the artwork may not go down well with your parents.
