It's all kicking off!
Hipster thespian and every fanboy's least favourite Batman villain Jared Leto threw some shade at Taylor Swift in a video that surfaced this week of a studio session for his actually-quite-good band Thirty Seconds To Mars.
In fact, Jared gives such little f*cks about her that he's already tweeted a grovelling apology to the fandom...
The truth is I think @taylorswift13 is amazing + an incredible example of what's possible. If I hurt her or her fans my sincerest apologies.— JARED LETO (@JaredLeto) December 7, 2015
...and now is planning to sue TMZ for releasing the footage in the first place.
Regardless of who we are, we should all be able to talk freely in the privacy of our own homes without the fear that our unfiltered thoughts or actions will get broadcast to the world. We have the right to privacy and security and when we don’t have protections in place to safeguard those things, we lose the freedom to speak loudly and clearly - right or wrong - about anything and everything we choose to.Jared Leto
No word from the Swift camp on all this, probably because she just decided to go ahead and "Shake It Of.. actually no, let's not lower ourselves with that gag. We're all better than that.
Anyway, Leto's camp has filed the papers so the saga continues. But regardless of the outcome over privacy, a worthy issue of contention, one thing is already abundantly clear - nobody gets away with shading Swift!
