She is a CHILD.
PSA: Just because it's Halloween doesn't mean you've got a free pass to be racist or problematic.
People often use the excuse of Halloween to be controversial AF for the lols. Actual stores and online outlets have often catered to the controversy but this year, there seems to be even more unacceptable outfits than before and one in particular has really pissed off the internet.
Chances are, you've probably thought about dressing up as one of the kids from Stranger Things, haven't you? Well, whatever you do, don't turn it into something sexual. The controversial outfit in question is "sexy Eleven" - renamed "Sexy Upside Honey" for maximum sexiness - and is being sold online by HalloweenCostumes.com. People are calling it "disgusting."
Why are people pissed off? Um, well... Eleven is a CHILD and yes, she may be a fictional character but Millie Bobby Brown, the 13-year-old actress who portrays her on the show is also still very much a child. Many people are finding it quite jarring and disturbing to see the character, who is well under the age of consent, be sexualised in such a way.

It's not the first time the internet has been calling out other people and brands for sexualising the kids from Stranger Things. Just recently, the internet was disgusted to find out that certain people had been sexualising Finn Wolfhard for his role as Richie Tozier in IT. Earlier this year, Insider was dragged online after throwing Millie Bobby Brown on the Worst Dressed list - for not wearing a dress that moulded to her body.
Let the children be children without sexualising them, for Christ's sake.
