The actor will be written out of future episodes of 'The Ranch' as Los Angeles police continue to investigate the claims.

Danny Masterson is no longer a member of the cast of Netflix's original series The Ranch after four women accused the actor of rape.

Variety reports that Netflix released a statement earlier today (December 5th) announcing that they have parted ways with Masterson who is also an executive producer on the show:

"As a result of ongoing discussions, Netflix and the producers have written Danny Masterson out of 'The Ranch'. Yesterday was his last day on the show, and production will resume in early 2018 without him."

The Los Angeles County District Attorney and Los Angeles Police Department are currently investigating allegations against Masterson.

On Monday, The Huffington Post reported that Netflix executive Andy Yeatman had told a woman during a kids' soccer game he was coaching that the company does not believe any of Masterson’s accusers. The woman then revealed that she was among Masterson's alleged victims.

New episodes of The Ranch are still expected to be released on December 15th, featuring Masterson, with his character removed from any future seasons planned for 2018 and beyond.
