The 95 year old comic creator has released a statement through his lawyer calling the allegations "false and defamatory".

Stan Lee, one of the founders of Marvel comics, has denied allegations of sexual misconduct made against him by his in-home nurses.

The Daily Mail reports that the 95 year old, who co-created the likes of Spider-Man, Hulk, Thor, and the X-Men, is accused of harassing his nurses, walking around naked and asking for oral sex in the shower. Concierge Nursing Care, the company providing the nurses, were also said to have stopped working with him due to his behaviour.

However, Lee has denied all accusations against him, his lawyer Tom Lallas calling them "false and defamatory" in a statement obtained by Buzzfeed:

"Mr. Lee categorically denies these false and despicable allegations and he fully intends to fight to protect his stellar good name and impeccable character. We are not aware of anyone filing a civil action, or reporting these issues to the police, which for any genuine claim would be the more appropriate way for it to be handled. Instead, Mr. Lee has received demands to pay money and threats that if he does not do so, the accuser will go to the media. Mr. Lee will not be extorted or blackmailed, and will pay no money to anyone because he has done absolutely nothing wrong."

A letter has also been sent to Concierge Nursing Care by Lallas regarding the claims. Marvel has not released a comment at the time of writing.
