Movie star Millie is rising.

Back in November, rumours emerged that Millie Bobby Brown had been offered the lead role in The Silver Chair, the next instalment of the Narnia franchise. Nothing was ever confirmed and nothing has been said of it since. And now it looks like nothing will come of it because Millie has just bagged herself a brand new leading role in a huge new movie franchise... and she's producing the damn thing too.

Millie will be starring in a brand new series of films about Enola Holmes, Sherlock Holmes' sister based on 'The Enola Holmes Mysteries' books.

The book series began in 2006 with “The Case of the Missing Marquess” and consists of six novels, revolving around mysteries investigated by Sherlock Holmes’ much younger sister, Enola who is constantly put down by her older brothers until she goes solo and proves her skills as a detective.

She is also set to produce the film with PCMA Productions. (Does that mean she's Hollywood's youngest producer? Ever?)

No other information has been released about the franchise just yet. How Millie's involvement in the series will affect her role as Eleven on Stranger Things remains to be seen.

It's not Millie's first venture into film though, you can catch her in 2019's Godzilla: King Of Monsters next. Movie star Millie is rising.
