Big change is ahead!
If Four was anything to go by, it's pretty clear that the boys of One Direction are looking to shift their music in a less pop, more "soft rock" direction. But could we expect them to be responsible for the next "Wonderwall"?
Speaking to Capital FM this week, Liam Payne admitted that so far, the new music that the recent foursome are excitedly working on is starting to sound "a bit Oasis-y".

Prompted to talk about the more "stadium rock" tunes that are rumoured to be a big part of the band's fifth album, Liam goes on to say that they want it "to be a long-lasting album that you can listen to anytime".
"You know, like how Ed [Sheeran]'s album; anytime you can throw on an Ed song and it can always make sense. We're trying to do that."
So there you go. Oasis and band pal Ed Sheeran are major influences in the development of the next album. Hopefully this doesn't mean that we can expect a mix of constant fighting and being sad from the boys in the future.
It could be worse; they could have been more influenced from their time around Nickelback.
