We're not saying Brick Tamland was involved in this but we're not not saying Brick Tamland was involved in this.

Kelly Clarkson's video for her Christmas single 'Wrapped In Red' has just arrived on YouTube and it's here right in time for the holiday season.

And it's not often you can say this, but the set's lighting department really went to town on this one. Like, really. And it almost feels like the light is taking a (sometimes ominous) central stage to Kelly.

As a reference point, this is the kind of strong lamp-action we're talking about here.

That's about it.

For half of the video, Kelly is completely consumed by this dazzling bright light.

She seems to almost cry for help amongst its smothering oppressiveness.

Huge green lighting goblets glide their way across the screen.

The camera is constantly drawn to them.

And at one point, COMPLETELY OUT OF NOWHERE, this sinister lamp-specimen appears.

And all at once, it goes calmly back to this.

More lights. (Firey ones).

And to round it off, completely confirming the thoroughly dominating presence of the lamp, the video closes on this parting shot.

Yes, not Kelly, a lamp.

Watch the lamp revolution in full here.
