Who doesn't love an emoshe banger now and then?

YouTube sensation and quite good popstar Alexa Goddard has just dropped a new song and video for "We Broke The Sky".

Having spent most of last year releasing really rather amazing pop songs, such as "So There" and "Marilyn", Goddard took some time out of the limelight.

However, now she's back with an absolute corker.

Co-written by Kirby Lauryen, who is behind "FourFiveSeconds" and "Only One", "We Broke The Sky" is a bit of a departure from the sugary sweet confections that Alexa had previously released. Instead, the song is a emoshe banger with soaring vocals, melancholic pianos and Emeli Sandé-esque drums.

The accompanying music video is also pretty stunning and sees Alexa roaming serious terrain and, at one point, being rained on. Poor thing.

Unfortunately, the single is actually out until 28 August, but you can listen to the track and watch the video below.

Give it a go, it's a good'un!
