Are Emoji Videos The New Lyric Video?

Fans rebel to the "official lyric video" movement with the poop emoji.
There was a time on YouTube, not too long ago, when the site was rife with lyric videos. These neon-coloured, oft-misspelled Windows Movie Maker creations were a surging wave of creativity for fans who wanted to share their favourite artists' new music, believing that adding "I don't own anything" to the video description was enough to dodge the copyright claims.
Of course, this was never going to last, and eventually artists started releasing their own, slickly-made, official lyric videos to deter fans from posting their copyrighted content. But it seems as though the stubbornness - and the creativity - of fans is evolving, and a new wave of fan-made videos is emerging.
A video currently making the rounds online today is this quirky animated video set to LunchMoney Lewis' wacky hit "Bills" where the lyrics have been interpreted into, of course, Emoji. The minimalistic video still manages to tell the full story of the song with the use of pretty much the whole emoji keyboard.
Seriously people; if we can translate full songs into emoji, we're one generation away from going back to using hieroglyphics.
