London based Years & Years is fronted by Olly Alexander. You know, from Skins and general television fame. The group have 3 EPs under their belt and mix different elements of house, dancehall, and electric music.
MVP Track: Take Shelter
George The Poet
North London native George Mpanga is a spoken word artist and the first to be shortlisted for the Brits Critics’ Awards. Currently signed to Interscope records, George’s brand of conscious poetry has caught the attention of critics all over.

James Bay’s tunes have echoes of Ben Howard and Tom Odell (last year's winner). Bay is certainly in a good place to win with his folk and soul inflected alternative music.
