Be our friend.

Looking every bit our 90s cool girl inspiration, Charli XCX took to the SNL stage over the weekend to perform "Break The Rules" and "Boom Clap". Sherlock's, Martin Freeman hosted the episode and introduced the pop star in what was most definitely one of the first times he’d ever seen or heard of her.

Aged only 22 and on the verge of releasing her highly anticipated debut, Sucker, later this month, Charli looked like a veteran on the 30 Rock stage, even donning a pair of jelly platforms that not even Julia Stiles circa ’99 could have pulled off.

See the performance below while you brain storm ways to get Charli XCX to be friends with you.
