Did Kanye West Just 'Subtweet' Taylor Swift About Her Apple Victory?

"90% of celebrities only use their voice to make money for themselves." Hmmmm.
You know that feeling you get from a person's Tweet, when it's not explicitly directed at anyone but it totally is? That's subtweeting. It's the worst. But it also happens in real conversation, as Kanye West might have shown us this week.
Speaking to Q Magazine ahead of his headlining spot at Glastonbury this weekend, Kanye discussed some of the nuances of celebrity culture, and had a lot to say about celebs that speak publicly about certain issues.
"I just think there's a lot of celebrities that are completely controlled by their finances," he admits. "You could literally tap them on the wrist and say they lost five dollars and they'll fall to the floor and beg for at least four of the dollars back."
"So when people expect a celebrity to do or say anything you're talking to the wrong group of people. They won't use their voice for the people. They'll only use their voice for money."
His opinions may be valid; but Kanye's comments come right off the back of the best week ever for one Taylor Swift - Her open letter to Apple caused the company to revisit their policy on paying artists for the 3-month free trial of their new streaming service.
There's no denying that Taylor's very public stance was what caused the tech giant to back down, and while her whole statement is in defense of independent artists, there have still been plenty of critics who question Tay's ulterior motives. But after she and Kanye finally managed to bury the hatchet earlier this year, is it her that he's coming after with his comments?
"Print it as f**king loud as you want to. Print it," he challenges to Q. "And I don't care what parties I don't get invited to afterwards. 90% of celebrities only use their voice for the purpose of making money for themselves."
It's obvious that Kanye's not out to make any new friends with this statement, but he might have just resurfaced an old beef.
