Last week, tragedy befell the fandom when it was made clear that the boys would be taking a hiatus come spring 2016. Things have obviously been tense since Zayn left the group, but fans have grown restless under the glare of various ongoing dramas.
We know the boys are "good people", so to speak, and it's no surprise that, despite the drama, they have gone ahead with their campaign, Action/1D. For the last few months, Harry, Niall, Louis, and Liam have been asking fans what sort of world they would like to live in. Be it a world without hunger, wars, or preventable disease, the boys asked fans to share what they want to see for the future.
They've also asked fans to write letters to governments in order to enact change. What they got in return were some pretty thoughtful responses from fans all over the world.
