Oh Jah Jah, baby.

Eddie Murphy has released new music. Seriously. It's reggae, about Jah, and actually kind of good.

It's always been kind of obvious that Eddie Murphy low key wants a big music career. The actor has done music features in his films and independently since the 1980s and even provided a few tracks for the Shrek soundtrack.

And there's no way we (or anyone else for that matter) could forget his 80s classic "Party All The Time".

Now, his latest track "Oh Jah Jah", is surpassing everyone's expectations and is kind of good and kind of very unexpected. Murphy has hinted at a potential full length release if people are into "Oh Jah Jah" which would be interesting to say the least. Hear "Oh Jah Jah" and decide for yourself if Eddie Murphy's music career dreams are about to come true.
