The legendary Jim Carrey sat down

PopBuzz sat down with Jim Carrey, the superstar man of a million faces, to talk about his role as the villainous Doctor Robotnik in the delightfully wacky new movie Sonic The Hedgehog.

The movie also stars Ben Swartz as the titular hedgehog and James Marsden as his weary human friend and features some of the best Jim Carrey wackiness we've seen in years.

Jim shared his thoughts on aliens (he thinks they're real and movies are preparing us for their arrival, it's a bold opinion) and said he'd love to go on a lil adventure himself with everyone's favourite blue hedgehog.

We also got right into the details of the absolutely epic moustache that Jim sports as the techno villain in the film, which he dubs "the zygote of pure evil". He says "it's the first indication that there will be women tied to the railway tracks." But he goes on to say that although his character is certainly nefarious, he is also "totally worthless in his own mind".

We rounded off our lovely little chat by twisting Jim's arms until he named his top five Jim Carrey films. What did he choose? Well.... you'll have to watch the interview to find out, but we'll say this: our commiserations to Bruce Almighty fans...
