Lili Reinhart and Keke Palmer reveal they didn't get to pole dance in Hustlers

Hate to disappoint but Lili Reinhart and Keke Palmer don't do any pole dancing in Hustlers... it's just good ol' fashioned scamming from them instead.

If someone asked you to create a female heist team consisting of literally any celebrity you ever wanted, who would you pick? Rihanna, maybe? Lupita Nyong'o? Margot Robbie? Jennifer Lopez and Constance Wu?

We asked that exact question to Hustlers stars Lili Reinhart and Keke Palmer and their answer was basically the perfect promo answer for the movie they're starring in.

Yes ladies, Hustlers is almost here and it's about to be one of the best films of 2019. Starring Lili and Keke alongside an iconic cast including Constance Wu, Julia Stiles, Madeline Brewer, Cardi B and Lizzo, the Jennifer Lopez-led film will see a group of former strip club employees band together to turn the tables on their Wall Street clients.

There will be poles, there will be lap dances, there will be schhhhmoney, there will be several moments in the film where you wish you too could get away with scamming rich men and looking good while doing it...

But anyway, back to Lili and Keke's ultimate heist team. Who did they pick!? Who will be joining them on their hypothetical scam? Uh, the rest of the cast, obviously...

"Keke," Lili pitched without hesitation before Keke jumped in saying, "I mean honestly, why not the people we were in the movie with? I mean, [Lili] is unassuming. I'm kinda like the distraction. JLo's the mastermind and Constance is the one that keeps it like, streamlined. I feel like we do kind of have those personalities."

Despite playing former strip club employees, Lili and Keke also revealed that they don't even get on a pole in the film.

"I was ready to do a pole dance but my character didn't call for that," said Lili. "So I moreso just took two lessons for experience and for fun but you don't actually see me do it in the movie which is a bummer. Maybe in the future I'll do it but I liked it! I got the hang of it.

Keke continued: "Lili and I were both like, 'Oh, we're ready for our close up, Mr DeMille!' We were so into the pole thing but for our characters, it wasn't called for us to do that. But we did take a class together and we loved it but other than that..."

So there you have it. There will be no pole dancing from either of them in this particular picture. Sorry about it. But there will be plenty of hustlin', scammin', bamboozlin' and hood winkin' from both of them when Hustlers is released on September 13th.
