Watch Yungblud paint a self-portrait while answering questions about his life and art in 'Portrait Mode'.

YUNGBLUD has opened up about his undying love for My Chemical Romance in a new interview with PopBuzz Meets.

Yungblud, or Dominic Richard Harrison as he's known to his parents, has been busy preparing for his second studio album in 2020 and has hinted that it might feature a collaboration with superstar Post Malone. In fact he's so excited about the new album he even shared a cheeky pic of his bare ass to get us all in the mood.

Despite his busy schedule, Yungblud stopped by PopBuzz HQ to discuss his life and music while painting a self-portrait on our feature called Portrait Mode. Hit play on the video at the top of this page to watch the full interview.

Talking about studying art at schools, YUNGBLUD said: "I always liked showing off. [Art] was the only thing I could do. It just made me feel alright to be myself. I used to look at artists like My Chemical Romance, Oasis, The Arctic Monkeys and they would just be who they are and I was like, I want to be like that." He then finished with a very short rendition of the chorus from 'Welcome To The Black Parade'. We're going to need a full cover, like, yesterday.

Elsewhere in the interview, Yungblud gave some hilarious advice for those dealing with a broken heart. "Ok. Chinese food is essential. I'm serious", he said.

"Call your Chinese and say, 'Listen to me, I'm going to be needing to ring you for, like, a lot this week. They will get it. They'll understand. They'll be like, 'Y'know what? Fine. We understand ya.' And then you go home, put on a really sad rom-com - as long as it's got Julia Roberts in it it doesn't matter - and then you get loads of cups of tea, call your mum, drown yourself in Chinese food and don't leave the house for a month and then you'll be alright."

Don't mind us, we're just crying into our sweet and sour pork balls right now.
