"Lay Me Down" gets the Aussie producer's hypnotic treatment.

We like Sam Smith. We like Flume. But did we ever envision a world where one would be remixed by the other? Absolutely not; Sam's sad crooning doesn't quite lend itself to an uptempo dance track.

But Australian artist Flume didn't let that stop himself from trying, and the latest track posted to his Soundcloud, a rework of Sam's "Lay Me Down", proves that the guy can make pure gold out of pretty much anything.

Seriously, we're in awe. Mad props to Flume; Maybe next he can pull a Revolvr, and make something out of this Iggy performance?
