Hear the incredible new single from the upcoming album.

What Went Down, the fourth studio album from Foals, is fast approaching. With three singles shared ahead of the record's August 28th debut, this last taster should properly wet fans' palettes. "London Thunder" is warm and glowy but mature as well.

From a compositional standpoint, there is a lot there. Some sunny bits mixed in with the dirge-y bits make for what is likely to be the one of the most complex songs on the album.

With Foals there are exactly two types songs on offer. You can either have the energetic stadium ready anthems like 2012's "Inhaler" or the slow burning songs like "Spanish Sahara"

"London Thunder" feels like the latter. With more grown up sensibilities and certainly more toward their contemporaries, Foals have explored quite a different overall vibe on What Went Down.

The have offered up an album sampler which you can hear below.
