If you cry in front of Dave Grohl, dreams may come true.
At PopBuzz, we strongly support anyone who cries at music. No matter who you are, whether you're a tiny teenage girl or a fully-grown dude; if music makes you feel something, that should be celebrated. Fortunately, our favourite rock star seems to agree.
At a recent Foo Fighters gig in Colorado, Dave Grohl and the band were powering through an emotive acoustic rendition of "My Hero". Dave slowed things down at the bridge for what was probably going to be an epic speech - but he was cut short when he noticed a grown man crying in the audience.
"I'm going to sing this to your crying, grown-man ass right now," promises Dave, as he invites "Anthony" up onto the stage for a hug and the chance to sing along to the song with him. Apparently Anthony was also quite drunk, but what better emotional state to meet your hero, and sing a song ABOUT your hero WITH your hero? Actual goals right here.
