It's kind of great.
Charli XCX has had a string of hits in the US and her native UK and has made a name for herself in the English-speaking world. Now, with the Japanese release of her Sucker album, we've become privy to a pretty otherworldly version of "Boom Clap".
Charli sings in Japanese on the track, a feat she is both being praised and criticised for.
i want to sleep but i also kind of want to spent every breathing moment of my life listening to the japanese version of boom clap

Just listened to @charli_xcx 's Boom Clap in Japanese version. The pronunciation is a bit off, but it still sounds good.

But it doesn't end there. There is also version of "Break The Rules" making the rounds and it's all kind of surreal.
No but Charli recorded Japanese versions of Boom Clap and Break The Rules and they're the cutest things I've ever heard

The re-release is due out next month but you can hear "Boom Clap" and "Break The Rules" below.
