The mopey Irish singer-songwriter turns the teeny pop diva's song into a TOTAL JAM.

If Radio One's Live Lounge is good for anything, it gets artists to step out of their genre-restricted comfort zone when it comes to covering other songs.

We use the term "comfort zone" lightly though, because Hozier apparently had no trouble blasting out this incredible cover of Ariana Grande's "Problem". Bringing along his guitar, a full band plus backing singers, and some slick mood lighting, the "Take Me To Church" star turned the saxophone-tastic pop hit into a soulful rock anthem.

Plus he even hit the high notes.

And that's not all - Hozier and his band even managed to wedge in a slick mashup with Warren G's 1994 hip-hop classic "Regulate" towards the end of the song. Just because.

It's all starting to sound a little far-fetched, so we'll leave you with the video. It's got to be heard to be believed, and you'll be glad you hit Play.
