Pretty Much Nobody Is Surprised To Learn That Iggy Azalea Probably Didn't Write "Fancy"

I mean, water, wet, etc.
Iggy Azalea's been off our radar for a while, mostly because her lack of Twitter presence has given us less ridiculous beef to cover. But we can only imagine it's a matter of time before she rushes back to defend herself from the current buzz, after collaborator Skeme basically admitted that he was the pen behind her verses on "Fancy".
I.. Thought we all knew Iggy didn't write her rhymes.

Iggy has been known to defend her own writing, but during a live interview on "Sway In The Morning" at SXSW this week, Inglewood-based rapper Skeme was tricked into a heavily obvious game of 20 Questions, and Sway persuaded him into basically admitting that the verses were his work.
So it finally comes out that Iggy didn't write Fancy....shocker....

The full interview is available to watch, but the good stuff on ghostwriting starts from 2:26:
So "a lot of vibe, a lot of push", was apparently Skeme's contribution. Whatever that means.
We been knew Iggy didn't write her raps though

But as you can no doubt garner from the reactions we've been looking into, pretty much nobody is surprised by this revelation.
Did y'all really think Iggy wrote Fancy or any of her other songs? pic.twitter.com/LQoTrdFCz2

Saying that, Iggy does have people fighting in her corner. Maybe she can take some tips from them on originality.
So what if IGGY uses ghostwriters? Did Jesus write the bible? I don't think so!
