Um...why are people doing this?
Sick of your phone? Due an upgrade and don't know what to do with your old one? Well this brand new selfie trend may be the perfect solution to all your problems 'cos you'll probably end up breaking the screen!
Twitter user Seth Schneider posted the below shot of himself successfully attempting a "hands-free" selfie. He even managed to high-five himself in the process.
Today is the proudest day of my life. I successfully took a picture of me high fiving myself pic.twitter.com/tCZ53T5JSx

Wait, what's happening?
Basically, you stand in front of a mirror, tap the shutter on your camera and chuck your phone in the air. If you nail it, you'll end up with a lovely blurry selfie to look at twice then forget about forever. Worst case scenario your phone is f*cked.
But hey, these people thought it was worth the risk...

Whatever floats your boat guys. Or floats your phone I guess in this case.
Anyway, to recap, if you insist on making your phone appear like its floating through the air, make sure you have plenty of soft furnishings around to catch it when things go inevitably wrong.
Although, props to this guy who clearly NAILED IT!
Where yo bitches at I managed to dab and high five myself and take pictures, I am the future pic.twitter.com/n5jK1BUhEv
