This Is How To Get The Old Version Of Snapchat Back
12 February 2018, 12:40
Literally everyone hates the new Snapchat update so here's how to revert it back to original interface.
If you are one of the few that is still using Snapchat in this trash year of 2018, you will have spent the weekend complaining about that hideous new interface that was forced upon us in the latest update.
The update has completely destroyed the way we watch our friends and celebrities stories. Everything has moved, stories and chats are now in the same place and Kylie Jenner already HATES it... basically, it's a mess and it's really not going well for them. In fact, people are deleting the app because it's become "unusable" and others are trying to campaign for Snapchat to change it back to the way it was.
Unfortunately, that's not going to happen. Snapchat issued a statement about the "whole new Snapchat" and it doesn't sound like they're going to budge. This is it, lads. This is what we're working with now.
There is a small slither of hope, though. The internet has seemingly figured out a way to get the old Snapchat interface back and it sounds promising - if you're desperate.
Here's what you need to do:

Based on the feedback, the hack doesn't quite stick as well as you would hope. Once you send a snap or a chat, the interface seems to revert back to the updated one.
Snapchat have also warned that if you do this, be sure to back up your memories before hand because they might end up being wiped when you revert it.
Before reinstalling Snapchat or logging out, make sure Memories are backed up or you could lose them 😔

Settings > Memories > Backup Progress ‘Complete’ means you’re all set. If not, tap to see which Snaps need backing up.
You'll also need your password so you can log back in!
So there you have it, a quick fix for a big, huge, terrible problem. But will the outrage and drastic drop in users be enough to make Snapchat change a few things back? Probably not, but that doesn't mean we're not gonna stop complaining about it.
I miss the old Snapchat
