Here's how to use Twitter's new voice note feature on Android and iOS.

"Sometimes 280 characters aren’t enough and some conversational nuances are lost in translation. So starting today, we’re testing a new feature that will add a more human touch to the way we use Twitter – your very own voice," Twitter's Maya Patterson and Rémy Bourgoin wrote in a blog post.

Using the new voice notes feature is pretty simple.

1) First, head to the Tweet composer and tap the wavelength icon next to the camera icon.

2) Now you should be able to see your profile picture and the record button at the bottom.

3) Tap the record button to create your message and share the voice tweet by hitting "Done". Remember, your profile picture will be attached to the audio tweet.

4) Once finished, you can listen to voice tweets by pressing the play button.

Each voice tweet can capture up to 140 seconds of audio but if you have more to say, a new voice tweet starts automatically to create a thread once you've reached the time limit.

You can only use voice notes in original tweets and you can’t include them in replies or retweets with a comment.

Sadly, if you're using an Android the feature isn't available just yet, it's only on iOS. Twitter hasn't announced when Android users can expect to have the feature.

As you can imagine, people are already sharing hilarious voice note snippets.
