Worried about your friends being able to keep an eye on your every move? Not on our watch!

Instagram, your fave photo-sharing app, has been undergoing some pretty radical changes recently and the internet isn't particularly happy about it.

For example, in the latest update, it is now possible for users to see when people you follow were last active, showing real-time movements. You will be able to see when people are typing and if they've seen your posts via the DM section of the app, much like you already do on Facebook messenger.

Oh and, you know, they can see what you are up too as well. How fun...

But, don't worry, there is a way to switch it off and ensure your anonimity.

1) Go to 'Options' in your Instagram profile.

2) Scroll down to 'Settings'.

3) Slide 'Show Activity Status' into the off position.

Simple as that!

Now, we just need to solve this even WORSE problem of story screenshot notifications. If you know how to fix that one, send us your answers on a postcard.
