The app's latest update is being slowly rolled out as part of a "massive redesign" over the coming months.

Snapchat have just upped their filter game once again by introducing a brand new selection that can actually identify what you have taken a picture of.

Mashable reports that the new filters fall into sets of categories including concerts, beaches, pets, sports, and food. They are unlocked when you snap an image of anything in those categories.

So, for example, if you take a picture of your dog, you might get the new "It's A Pawty" filter. Or a snap of some food might raise the question "What Diet?".

Snapchat have been quietly rolling the new feature out to users over the last week and they should be popping up in your filter carousel shortly.

The app will also be undergoing a "massive redesign" in the coming weeks according to CEO Evan Spiegel so keep your eyes peeled.
