Snapchat Just Released A Statement About The 'Disgusting' New Update
16 February 2018, 11:57
You may hate it, but the team over at Snap seem pretty happy with how everything is going so far.
Snapchat have spoken publicly for the first time since their controversial and widely despised update...and they seem to be ok with everything.
According to Variety, CEO Evan Spiegel attended a Goldman Sachs investor event on Thursday (February 15th) when he was asked about the reaction to the redesign:
"We are excited by what we are seeing so far...Some of the complaints we are seeing are reinforcing our philosophy."
Hmm. Not sure which tweets he's been reading.

People hate it so much it is already a meme.
The update was announced last year and has been implemented steadily since the start of 2018. Many users have since complained online about the movement of celebrity stories out of the main section and have even found a clever way to remove the update and revert back to the good old days.
