You're gonna love this one.

Tumblr users have always loved the site for its straightforward approach to blogging. While sites like Facebook have changed immeasurably over the course of a decade, Tumblr has stayed relatively the same with a few small changes. But, as Facebook, Instagram, and Snapchat embrace the wave of stickers, filters and live broadcasting, Tumblr is gearing up to add "a new thing" to their app.

The company announced earlier this week that it would be introducing stickers and filters for posts and GIFs within their Android and iOs apps. The company's post explains how users can add new details (wigs, hearts, thought bubbles, glasses etc) to mobile posts.

Incorporating stickers and filters into the app is a rather trendy decision. Instagram has made similar additions in recent months, a move which has paid off big time for the Facebook-owned company

Tumblr tends to cater to a specific audience so it will be interesting to see whether this type of customization is what users respond to.
