Twitter Just Updated This Feature And People Are Absolutely Fuming

Overheard at PopBuzz: "It's disgusting"
The internet was shookth yesterday (30 Mar) when Twitter unveiled its new reply feature. From now on, usernames will not appear when replying to someone's tweet.
#Escandalo
Now, let's be real for a sec. Usually people *hate* updates to their fave social media platforms. People generally don't like change and over the 12 years since it's launch users had been become very accustom to seeing the @ username appearing in the tweet. Now, they appear above and you can control who's in the conversation by tapping on the names in the list.
The idea behind this feature is to save characters in a single tweet and make tweets look a bit tidier. Yet it seems most people agree that it has caused more confusion.
This tweet pretty much summed up our timeline this morning.
Good morning everyone except the changes to Twitter's replies.

Will the new Twitter replies stay? Considering that it's almost universally hated, we're don't think it will be around for long.
