Twitter has turned the quote "Be his peace" into a meme and it's scarily accurate.

The internet has the ability to turn just about anything into a meme. I mean, the cock destroyers? No Nut November? The list goes on. It seems people have now turned their attention to the age old quote, "Be his peace".

"Be his peace" means you – the woman in a relationship – should be a calming force their man's life and provide him with an escape from the harsh realities of this world. When he's hungry make him a sandwich, and when he gets in from work massage his crusty feet. Don't protest about it either, just be zen. BUT it's 2018 and we're over being a man's peace, thank you very much. How about you be our peace too?

Taking inspiration from some of the most powerful, crazy and opinionated women in movies, people have put their own spin on the saying. Here are some of the best memes we've dug up – and be warned it may bring up some old buried feelings.

Hey, men! You gon' learn. TODAY.

Lisa "Left Eye" Lopes would never take this.

We didn't come to be peaceful, okay?

Me. Me. Me…

Sorry, where?

Sometimes you just wanna watch it all burn.

Be his what, now?

Nail. On. The. Head.

It's game over once the star signs get involved.

I can relate, tbh.

We definitely do not advocate violence.

That's it, we're staying single.
