People are putting hair removal cream in shampoo bottles and WTF

A woman is now bald after buying one of the bottles in Walmart.

A woman has been forced to shave her head after someone tampered with her bottle of shampoo and put hair removal cream in it. This comes following a sick viral challenge that saw people lick tubs of unopened ice cream and gargle mouthwash while shopping, and put it back on the shelves.

Ashley Rose was left devastated when her hair started falling out in clumps after she used Pantene's Pro-V Sheer Volume shampoo and conditioner for the first time.

Ashley began washing her hair in the shower and left what she believed to be conditioner on her hair for 10 minutes. After rinsing the product out, she noticed a "foul" smell and her hair began to fall out in clumps. Ashley then headed straight to the emergency room because her scalp was red and irritated.

It's now believed that someone put hair removal cream in the conditioner bottle, which has caused Ashley to lose her hair. Because she lives alone, she does not believe that someone could have tampered with it at her home, her GoFundMe page states.

Ashley has now filed a police report so that Walmart can release surveillance footage to investigators and they can catch who played this cruel prank.

Sadly, Ashley was in for even more devastating news. When she tried to get hair extensions to conceal her hair loss, she was told it wouldn't be possible because her hair was still falling out and her scalp was irritated. Ashley then had to make the hard decision to shave her head.

"Hair is such a part of our personal identity and having to lose all of it without expectation or choice is an incredibly traumatic experience," her Go Fund Me page adds.

"This GoFundMe is being set up in hopes of helping Ashley to purchase some wigs, which can cost hundreds to thousands of dollars, and require costly care and maintenance. Along with offsetting any potential medical costs and legal fees."

To make matters even worse, Ashley's mother began receiving hurtful messages from people saying the story is fake on Facebook.

Despite this, people have supported Ashley on Twitter and called out the worrying tampering trend.
