Kylie Jenner losing her Instagram record to an egg is now a meme...
2019 is already off to a completely wild start. In just 15 days, we've been blessed with everything from Tidying Up with Marie Kondo memes (goddess of organisation) to Lady Gaga at the Golden Globes memes (we didn't say that!). However, nothing is quite as mesmerising, controversial and distressing as Kylie Jenner losing the title of most liked Instagram photo of all time to an egg.
Yes, if you went anywhere near the internet yesterday you would have seen that Kylie Jenner now no longer lays claim to the record for the most liked Instagram photo in history. Last year, her first public baby photo of her daughter Stormi earned the title with an unprecedented 18 million likes but now a photo of an egg has nabbed the title and it has inspired some of the funniest memes.

It all started when an Instagram account called @world_record_egg opened this month and shared a stock image of an egg with the ambitious and iconic caption: "Let's set a world record together and get the most liked post on Instagram. Beating the current world record held by Kylie Jenner (18 million)! We got this". The internet did it's thing and now the egg has over 41 million likes.
The memes come in all shapes in sizes. Some focus on the new record, others are all about Kylie and a lot of them are just about eggs in general. However they all share one thing in common; they are hilarious. With that in mind, we have scoured the internet and gathered together just a few of the most hilarious egg memes for your viewing pleasure.
