The 'You'll never see me again' song meme is taking over Twitter

The 2006 song 'Cry For You' by September (Petra Marklund) has been turned into a meme by Twitter, thanks to its iconic "you'll never see me again" lyrics.

The year might be drawing to a close but the speed at which memes are flying around Twitter doesn't seem to be winding down at all. This year, we've seen a number of songs get turned into memes (those memes even saw Fleetwood Mac's 40-year-old 'Dreams' shoot back up the charts) and now, a dance track from 2006 has made it's way back on to the internet and honestly? It's perfect.

'Cry For You' by Swedish singer September (Petra Marklund) spent three weeks at the top of Billboard's Hot Dance Airplay chart in 2007 and now, well over ten years later, has been immortalised in meme form thanks to the lyrics: "you'll never see me again."
