The brand new emojis include pinched fingers emoji, a trans flag emoji and a tuxedo emoji.

It's that time of year again. January is drawing to a close and the people behind emojis are blessing us with 117 new ones.

Over the years, the designers at emoji HQ have blessed our iPhones and smartphones with everything from lobster emojis to receipt emojis. In 2019 alone, the company launched 398 emojis including an ice cube emoji (um...okay), a woman kneeling emoji (think about it) and a yawning emoji (it was only a matter of time). From the useful to the useless, emojis are limitless.

Now Emojipedia has confirmed that we're getting 117 new emojis "in the second half of 2020" and they've unveiled photos and titles. As always there are some brilliant ones but lesbians are losing it over the unintentional meaning of one of them.

What are the 117 new emojis?

Among the 117 new emojis are a smiling face with tear emoji (finally something to express tears of joy), a feeding baby emoji available in all their gender and skin tone options (this one is really cute) and an anatomical heart emoji (for the biology nerds out there). There are also new emojis for bubble tea, a mammoth, a dodo, a gravestone, a magic wand and many more.

Not to mention, it's a great day for the LGBTQIA+ community. There is finally a trans flag emoji and there are also brand new tuxedo and veil emojis available in all genders and skin tones.

However, it's a new pinched fingers emoji that lesbians are crying with laughter over. Some people think the emoji looks like a stereotypical Italian hand gesture but... it also looks like something a little bit more intimate.

If you know, you know.

What do you think of the 117 new emojis? Which emoji is still missing?
