"Romeo! Don’t drink the poison she’s not dead! Oh no, he has AirPods in! He can’t hear us! Oh my god!"

AirPods, AirPods, AirPods... It seemed like the entire world got AirPods for Christmas in 2018 and if you didn't, you're basically garbage now. Still walking around with an unsightly white wire hanging from your ears? You're a disgrace! (Just kidding. Not really.)

AirPods are so hot right now that Louis Vuitton decided they wanted a slice of the action so they just released their own version of the bluetooth headphones and the price tag? WHEW! They'll set you back almost $1000.

But while everyone is raving about the overpriced wireless headphones, the best thing about them is actually the memes. AirPod memes took over the internet at the end of December and they haven't stopped since. Now, there's a new meme (based off the Squidward Truck meme) that involves photoshopping AirPods onto fictional characters and pretending they can't hear your warnings before they either get gravely injured or die - and it's GREAT.

If only Regina had not been wearing AirPods on that fateful day at school...

What if Archie has been wearing AirPods this whole time? It would explain a lot, to be honest...

Chidi wouldn't even be able to decide which AirPod to put in first.

For never was a story of more woe than this of Juliet and her Romeo...'s AirPods.

Think of how different Facebook would be right now if Eduardo hadn't got any AirPods for Christmas.

19th century problems, am I right?

SHE BETTER NOT SNEEZE!

It's gonna take twice as long to save Princess Peach if Mario is gonna keep flexing with those AirPods.

HOW WAS HE TO KNOW?!

Did you know? AirPods were actually invented by Pete Wentz in April 2008.

Toni Collette in Hereditary is about to press charges against this tweet.
