Some of the Youtuber's fans have spotted a few issues in the trailer for Laid In America.

Caspar Lee and KSI unveiled the trailer for their upcoming movie debut Laid In America this week via Caspar's channel. ICYMI, you can watch the clip below:

But the reaction from fans has been...mixed.

The film follows the Youtuber pair as they attempt to lose their virginities via a series of hilarious japes and high school shenanigans, all advised by that TV salesman guy from The 40 Year Old Virgin.

And look - we can't hide from the fact that a lot of this looks pretty problematic. There's the bit where KSI refers to a girl as a "blob" he might "consider" having sex with if the night goes wrong. Or when the pair get roofied by an Asian stereotype that the writers of The Hangover would cringe at.

It's all a bit strange as this style does not match Caspar's persona, either online or in person. When he came into our building for a chat, the most common description was "polite" and "just really nice". So why has he got involved with this kind of film?

The Youtube comments section certainly hasn't sat on the fence:

It's a fair point...

The fact is, most fans of the pair will probably go and see this movie anyway but the trailer expresses some pretty outdated views and concepts that are less than encouraging.
