Jaclyn has been estranged from her dad James Eilers since her parents' divorce in 2012.

Jaclyn Hill has threatened to leave the beauty community for good after a video surfaced revealing alleged information about her biological father, who she is no longer in contact with.

The YouTuber called the constant online harassment "disgusting" and said that this time the trolls had gone too far. She tweeted: "This is absolutely DISGUSTING!! I refuse to watch this video, but just the title and the thumbnail is so awful. What is wrong with you that you think it’s okay to even speak about my birth father when I haven’t even spoke to him in 10 years. Mind your damn business. Too far!"

She added: "I understand that people don’t like me, they think I’m a liar, and they feel as though they can’t trust me. I can’t change that. But seriously, it’s gone too far. People have taken away all the fun on social media & have made it so ugly. I'm truly sick of seeing it every day."

In response, a worried fan then tweeted: "As bad and as wrong as this sounds, I feel like this isn’t going to stop til they break you or at least run you off social media or the beauty community completely." She replied: "They are close to achieving that goal."

In recent months Jaclyn has found it hard to escape controversy. In June last year, she deleted her social media after the scandal surrounding her "hairy" lipsticks. She was also subjected to unnecessary comments about her weight gain and rumours she'd had cosmetic procedures on her face. She later revealed how the constant bashing had caused her mental health to decline and led her to abuse alcohol.

In a YouTube video posted in February, she said: "I was in such a state of panic – it was just such a messy year, and at the end of the day, to cope with my anxiety and my depression, I turned to alcohol and started drinking to fix what I was healing mentally... it was just dark, and I turned to alcohol.

"And so when I would start to get anxiety, I just immediately am like I need a shot, I need a drink, I need a cocktail, I just numb it. Instead of using a Xanax, or Valium or Adavan or whatever prescription drug, I have been using alcohol to self-medicate, and that’s why my face has been so swollen."
