Katie Hopkins' Twitter account was recently suspended for spewing hate.

Josh Pieters is known for his elaborate YouTube pranks – and he might have just pulled off his best on yet. The YouTuber actually managed to fly former Apprentice contestant and professional Twitter troll Katie Hopkins out to Prague, where she collected a fake award.

In case you didn't know, earlier this week, Katie had her Twitter account suspended for violating the platform's anti-hate policy. So, whilst Katie was off of Twitter, it was the perfect time for Josh to drop his YouTube prank.

In the video, Josh set up a completely fake award ceremony for his phoney company, The Cape Town Collective for the Freedom of Speech. The ceremony was held in the dining room at the Four Seasons hotel in Prague, Czech Republic, and Josh even hired actors to fill the room, so it all looked pretty official. Katie flew to Prague from the UK, where she gladly accepted the award for her "excellent work".

Josh gave a speech and then presented the Katie with the award where the word "CUNT" – an abbreviation of the Campaign to Unify the Nation Trophy – was appropriately displayed on a screen behind them.

Not knowing that the whole thing was an elaborate stunt, Katie spouted her racist views in her acceptance speech. "This is by far the most fun I’ve had in a very long time, I am not used to receiving awards, it is strange, and it’s strange to hear nice things said about yourself. It is normally an incoming deluge of fireballs coming this way."

She added: "Epileptics are all weirdos, they’re up there with the Asians, East London is fairly shitty at the best of times, 82 per cent are Muslim, what can I say?" Katie also made fun of environmental activist Greta Thunberg and called her an "autistic wench".

Finally, Katie was being seen for who she really is and the internet truly loved to see it.

However, others thought it was just a complete waste of money.

Katie hasn't responded to the video yet, she obviously doesn't appreciate the work that went into the stunt. Sad.

Josh and Archie Manners – who produced the video – had to use "a large investment of money" and have consultations with lawyers to pull off the YouTube prank.

Speaking to Metro, Josh said: "A huge amount of hard work goes into it. [Archie and I] both worked extremely, extremely hard on it. Like it didn’t just happen, there were flights, a dinner, hotels, Katie Hopkins, 10 actors, people on her flight, our flight, then camera people. So many little details that we have to get right to make sure this works, and the writing of the speech, the way it came across and just so many things."
