Tana Mongeau addresses Noah Cyrus dating rumours

Following Tana Mongeau's Creator of the Year award at the Streamys, the popular internet personality clarified rumours that she is dating singer Noah Cyrus.
Tana Mongeau won big at the Streamys on Friday (13 December), securing a Creator of The Year accolade in a room of her peers. Later, while doing red carpet interviews, the YouTube star cleared up rumours that she and Noah Cyrus are dating. In the interview, Tana admitted that a title she chose for a recent prank video might have started all the relationship speculation.

Tana caught up with Entertainment Tonight who asked for the "true tea" on her and Noah's relationship status. Tana told the outlet that, while she and Noah are good friends, they're not currently in a relationship.
"To be real, I think that I might have started the girlfriend stuff with some YouTube title. I just love being around Noah. There's something about her, even before I knew her that has always inspired me."
The video in question was initially titled "i took my girlfriend's phone and flirted with my best friend. prank????" and later changed to "i took Noah's phone and flirted with my best friend. prank????"
Tana continued: "She's so real, she's so raw. The way she turns her emotions into art and cares about mental health and was born into this life, but turns it into something beautiful is so inspiring to me and I love to kick it with her."
"There is no tea, like that is the tea on that. I literally just like to spend time with her and care about her. Everything else just kind of makes it a mess. I don't know."
Tana later says that Noah has been inspiring some of her new music.

Tana and Noah became friendly after the singer responded to a video partially titled "why Noah Cyrus hates me" about an awkward run in they had at the 2018 MTV VMA awards.
