Poor decision, mate.
Justin Bieber didn't do very much in the way of music last year. He got into countless legal troubles, broke up with Selena Gomez 300 times, and was a general nuisance. There wasn't, however, a ton of music leaving camp Bieber.
Big Sean, on the other hand, was working on promotion for his second studio album, Hall of Fame and released one of the most played jams of the year ("IDFWU").
But people have noticed something intriguing on Justin Bieber's instagram that connects the two artists who have previously worked together but don’t seem to be ultra tight. It seems that 10 months ago, Bieber was all set to release his own recording over the IDFWU beat.
Bieber apparently had the "IDFWU" beat long before Big Sean sunk his teeth into it and DJ Mustard has finally explained how talks over the beat broke down.
DJ Mustard, who made the beat for IDFWU spoke to MTV saying that Bieber's team were poor communicators through out the process of clearing the production rights to the now infamous beat.
"We all just didn't communicate. Nobody communicated with my team. It's not a beef or no crazy sh*t like that, but we didn't communicate. I was excited about the record."
So there you have it. Team Bieber can't communicate. But they sure can post a shirtless selfie if that counts for anything.
