At least we're using the #CharlieCharlieChallenge responsibly.

Unless you've been hiding under a rock this weekend (or are older than 16), you're probably already aware of the madness of the "Charlie Charlie Challenge" that has taken the internet by storm.

A cross between "Bloody Mary" and a Ouija board, people are balancing two pencils over a sheet of paper with YES/YES/NO/NO marked out on a square, and (supposedly) summoning a Mexican paranormal entity named "Charlie" by asking aloud "Charlie, Charlie, are you there?"

Then, because forces more gravitational than supernatural are at play, the top pencil will move - usually over to where the "YES" has been written.

And people are freaking out.

So while the #CharlieCharlieChallenge hashtag is full of people screaming, and parodies, and endless seeking of Jesus, the One Direction fandom have, of course, decided to use these demonic rituals for a more productive gain:

Because OF COURSE the definitive method of proving that the fabled secret relationship between 1D's Harry and Louis is real is to ask a freakin' DEMON. WHY THE HECK NOT.

But despite Directioners putting their immortal souls at risk to get the information, it seems as though Charlie knows something we don't.

Although, results have varied.

Like, really varied.

You keep doing you, Larry believers. And we'll be praying for you.
