#LIAMISTHEPOOLCLEANER trends after one harmless interview comment blows up. Classic.

We already know where the rest of the 1D boys will be when their boyband days are done. Louis will have his record label, Niall will probably become a professional golf caddy, and no doubt Harry will ascend to the heavens, having completed his earthly tasks. But what about ol' Liam Payne? Where would he like to see himself beyond the biggest band in the world?

Apparently Liam's lofty goals for a 1D-free life include... cleaning swimming pools. Yep.

"It's something I've wanted to do for a long time," he admitted in an interview on Capital FM today. "You get to use the net and fish out the little leaves at the bottom of the pool, you can listen to your iPod while you're working."

Liam was on Capital to announce the big news that 1D would be headlining their Summertime Ball; but that was quickly overshadowed when Directioners heard the "pool cleaner" comment and, of course, proceeded to immediately lose their chill.

Subsequently, #LIAMISTHEPOOLCLEANER has been trending for aboooouuut six hours.

And whether Liam was serious or not, it looks as though dedicated fans are well on their way to making his pool-cleaner dreams a reality.

Bless you, Liam. You are the cleaner our pools deserve, but not the one they need right now.
