Everyone does it differently.

You probably hear the term "self care" being thrown around a lot. "Self care" sounds nice, but what does it really mean? For people who manage their anxiety and stress, self care is the idea that when you do things to make yourself feel good, you can take a small step toward cultivating and maintaining your overall mental wellness. 

Of course, practicing self care isn't a replacement for talk therapy or anti-anxiety medication, but allowing yourself comfort is an essential part of managing stress. 

Because the internet loves a bit of self-care, we rounded up a few examples of what people said they do in order to decompress and feel better in stressful times.
