Stop me if I'm wrong here, but chocolate is the ultimate mood booster when you're on your period, right? That's got a little to do with the serotonin that is released when you eat chocolate and a lot to do with the fact that chocolate is freaking brilliant.

Now, in case you needed another reason to love the stuff, someone has invented a chocolate bar that could actually relieve period pains.

Swiss company, Chocolate With Love, makes the deliciously outlandish claim that their chocolate can actually help relieve period cramps. The chocolate called, “Frauenmond” (which translates to 'women's moon') contains 60% cocoa and 17 Swiss mountain herbs supposedly able to relieve cramps.

The chocolatier behind "Frauenmond", Marc Widmer, explained that he wanted to "make the menstruation days of women more comfortable." Here for that, tbh.

Frauenmond is currently in the fundraising stages but if they meet their goal, you could be seeing this chocolate on store shelves very soon.

What do you reckon, guys. Does the magic period chocolate sound legit? Would you try it? Tell us in the comments below what you think of a chocolate meant to relieve period cramps.
