Serious heart eyes right now.

Those of us who are partial to a fresh coat of nail polish know why we like it. It looks good, feels good, and is another form of self-expression. We don't usually make the connection between fresh nail polish and leading men in Hollywood, but perhaps we should start.

If you've noticed that some of your favourite men have been sporting a single painted nail, here's why.

Zac Efron and some of his peers are participating in a campaign called polishedman, a cause which aims to bring awareness to violence against children.

Supporters of the cause are painting one of their five nails to represent the 1 in 5 youngsters who experience physical or sexual violence before the age of 18.

The cause aims to raise awareness, but also to raise money for the youth who have had to suffer these horrible experiences. Last year, Polished Man raised $300,000 for this important issue.

Chris Hemsworth is in on the action.

And so is Liam Hemsworth.

Even Gabriel Macht from Suits recognizes the importance of this movement.

The #polishedman campaign is an awesome way to let people know you stand against child violence this October and we couldn't be prouder of these stars.
