Noah Centineo and Laura Marano play Brooks and Celia in 'The Perfect Date' but fans are remembering them from their days on The Disney Channel's 'Austin & Ally'.

Netflix's The Perfect Date saw Noah Centineo, Camila Mendes, and Laura Marano team up for a teen rom com centred around a bright high school student named Brooks Rattigan.

Brooks' dream is to attend Yale University. In order to fund his Ivy League ambitions, the teen comes up with an app where girls can request his services as a stand-in date.

His first customer is the smart and unflappable Celia. Soon, lots of girls in the area are putting in requests for Brooks to be their tailor-made date.

Laura Marano and Noah Centineo play Celia and Brooks, respectively, but it's not the first time the pair have acted opposite one another. Viewers are pointing out that Noah and Laura were both in Austin & Ally as young actors and even danced together like they do in The Perfect Date.

Back in 2011 and 2012, Noah was a guest star on The Disney Channel's Austin & Ally, appearing in three episodes as Dallas. Dallas was a love interest of Ally and worked at a mobile phone cart. It should be noted that the characters were both pretty awkward dancers in the Disney Channel show.

So far, fans are living for the mini-Austin & Ally reunion in The Perfect Date.

In a recent interview about her Perfect Date co-star, Laura Marano gushed about reuniting with Noah Centineo.

"It was so much fun. And it was so funny because one of the things we did on Austin & Ally was awkwardly dance together," Laura told ET. "Which, not planned at all and very coincidental, but we do in The Perfect Date. So, it was really fun of, like, making that come alive again."
